Equipment-less - Stacey Dolliver (Tasmania) Join Stacey as she replicates and then workshops her versatile group exercise class that she conducts in a small community venue just out of Hobart. As there are not many training options in her home town, her audience is diverse; participants range from 19 to 59 years of age, super fit athlete, to the inspired new older adult exercising participant. No equipment, just bodyweight to improve strength and endurance, no set choreography just functional movement and music, no tough bullying just motivating instructor techniques. This fun and educational case study presentation offers options for private gyms, community centres and for the personal trainer. Comprehensive and user friendly notes are provided when attending this session.

INDOOR BOOTCAMP AND FITNESS GAMES - Cheryle Milligan (Vic) YES it is possible to have fun whilst getting fit. For many people who are starting a new exercise program or who have entered the world of fitness after a long break, Bootcamp can be a daunting experience. It is up to the trainer to succeed in keeping these people motivated and confident to come back. In a large group of people the fitness levels will vary and the trainer must be prepared to provide a challenge for everyone within that group.
Come along to the Indoor Bootcamp workshop and you will experience how to put together exercise drills using soccer balls, boxing equipment, tabata methods, team building and playing games such as Bootcamp Rugby. You will learn how to get everyone involved in a group activity. You will learn that teaching fitness can be FUN and rewarding not only for the participant but the trainer as well.

ABSOGLUTELY - Cheryle Milligan (Vic) If you have not experienced the ABSOGLUTELY Workout, don’t miss out on this Masterclass. This Masterclass has endless exercises to tone up the lower body muscles including, glutes, quads, inner thighs, outer thighs, hamstrings and abdominals. If you have already experienced the workout there are some new exercises you can add to the ones you already have. Some of the exercises require a fitball and others require handweights. Some of the exercises use dynamic moves and body weight as resistance. Discover how it is achievable to isolate, strengthen and firm up the muscles in your lower body. Learn to educate your participants that with correct diet and effective exercises they will achieve stronger and toned muscles in the lower parts of the body. You will learn proper technique and can teach them in any class. You will leave with detailed notes including photos and descriptions for all exercises

Aimed at functionally oriented training using the age old and tested Pilates foundations and principles discover how to activate multiple muscles whilst strengthening the core and joint stability in a way no machine can achieve. Proper alignment is the key to keeping this workout safe and user friendly! The advanced exercises performed are designed to increase balance and strength by engaging the abdominals, hips and back. The focus is on toning and stability whilst adding a new dimension, variety and a challenge.
