The music in these CD's was compiled by Janet to accompany her 'Small Ball' presentation at the Music and Motion's Masterblaster weekend held in July of this year. The purpose of the masterclass was to demonstrate the versatility of the small ball (ChiBall TM) and show how it can be used during the first half of a mainstream Older Adult class. Many different types of music - encompassing a wide range of musical tastes - are represented amongst the 3 CD's, and each is designed to appeal to a particular portion of the Older Adult population. CD?s 1 (target age 45+) and 2 (target age 65+) include short intense intervals within the cardio segment of the music, plus tracks which are intended to accompany lower body strength and balance exercises. CD 3 (chair-based) has tracks specially included for light resistance work with the ball and also 'just for fun'. The music is predominantly slower-paced (making it suitable for use with a Fitball), mostly phrased, and has been mixed to make a smooth-flowing class.
