Using weight plates and a bar, or dumbbells, each workout has been designed to target specific muscle groups. The initial 7 hour training will give personal trainers, gym staff and group exercise instructors the fundamentals of resistance training as the next step from their Cert 3 and 4 qualifications. Following the foundation training, the group exercise format is specifically endurance based, set in a group fitness class format set to energizing music. For group exercise instructors, this allows you to complete the day and have a format ready to teach as soon as you are ready. The course covers all the fundamental essential information required when working with resistance training techniques, covers exercises for all muscle groups and comes with an easy to follow manual where all the exercises are grouped in easy to find sections to enable you to select the best workout when prescribing your next program or putting together your group exercise class. The Group Exercise training following the foundation training, will enable you to develop and implement classes that will help your clients to increase their endurance levels. Your participants will be attracted to this training in order to increase their endurance levels, gain strength and muscle definition. If you have previously done any resistance training and it is more than two years since you completed this training, it is strongly recommended you refresh your knowledge, improve your skills and correct any possible technical faults in your delivery and update yourself with the latest industry information that has surfaced and become part of the fitness industry’s ever increasing standards over the last few years.
