SmartCycle is part of The Music & Motion Studio’s Getsmart Fitness training programs.

The training and manual has been developed by The Music & Motion Studio. Our goal is all who participate in SmartCycle leave the training feeling completely confident that the knowledge gained means you can conduct safe effective cycle classes. You will also be able to offer participants in your sessions not only a great workout, but knowledge of technique, and the benefits of participating in the class. The training will definitely equip you with all you need to know to start taking cycle classes.

The 7 hour training will extensively cover safety, technique, bike set up and adjustments, different training methods and more. Whether you are currently teaching cycle or are a complete beginner, this training is essential. A comprehensive manual covering all the above as well as different rides, what they mean, when they work best and watch out points will be included with the training and is a great resource for later when putting classes together or training clients.

This is an accredited course meaning there will be an assessment however this will take place during the whole training. At the completion of the day some of you will have the opportunity to present a portion of the class. To become an accredited SmartCycle trainer it will be necessary to pass the assessment section to qualify. AND the bonus is that SMARTCYCLE is a license free program. Once qualified you are able to use the name in your classes.

The next step down the track will be the advanced training which will focus on other areas such as athletes, motivation, advanced ideas and thirty minute workouts for personal trainers.
